I was so excited to find QbeeQuests blog by Brenda. She has amazing tutorials and the one that I loved was how to make a swivel card. I immediately thought about an Angry Birds card I made last year and how I could transform it into a swivel card. Well here it is and I couldn't have found this tutorial at a better time as my son is going to an Angry birds themed b-day party this weekend. Hope the birthday boy likes it.
Oops... turned out a little blurry. When you turn the scalloped circle on the bottom of the card, the Bird hits the pig.
In the spirit of Angry birds I found a tutorial on how to make these stuffies. We had fun making them last summer. You can see it HERE.
Thanks for looking!

Snow Day
Well the snow is starting to melt after a very fun few days on Vancouver Island. We even had a snow day when the schools closed Wednesday. I got the kids to pose around this huge snowball at their school. We'll miss the snow!

Party Hearty!
Here's my card for the Monday Makeover Challenge at Paper Crafter's Library inspired by Jessica Witty. You can see her card here. I wanted to make a birthday card for my Grandma, who is turning 94! I found some paper in my stash from Bella Blvd with these cute playing cards. I cut them out and used them as the focal point, which works out perfectly because my Grandma's an awesome Bridge player. The heart next to the 'party hearty' is punched from c/s. I pierced two holes and used a white gel pen to give the illusion that it's a button. My Grandma has a great sense of humor, so I'm hoping she'll like it.
Thanks for looking,
Sara

This is my new inspiration. A scrapbook for the little things in life that will be forgotten, like the laughter of my boys when they first read a Garfield comic. I will now have a place for those fun spur of the moment pictures. This is Ali Edwards take on Project Life. You can visit beckyhiggins.com for the Project Life youtube.

Makeover Monday Challenge 9 at Paper Crafter's Library
I thought that this card would be fitting as my first blog post, being a type writer and all. I'm excited to have just signed up for Paper Crafter's Library Blog newsletter and this is my very first challenge. I made this card for my friends who have supported me over the years with Stampin' Up! This may be my last quarter with SU and I'm excited to find inspiration in new places.
